Ethan Thankful for… December 16, 2009 by Ethan Category: Opinion

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I went to Florida, and as much fun and intense as my family is, I had a little free time to play around with some game development.

I didn’t want to work on a tiny tidbit of a larger project that would never get finished, so I made a silly little game revolving around the subject of poop. I know, I know, a *little* immature, but I was in the home where I spent the entirety of my youth– good excuse, right?

The Great Poop Shoot is mostly complete, but there are some important features(well, sound effects) that I just haven’t gotten around to. Here’s a preview of what you might see playing this game.

Other than that, I’ve recently started chatting with my friend Chris about collaborating on some flash games. It’s a much better feeling to work with someone who is also interested in game design and wants a part in it.

I’ve had some poor past experiences with a few artists that showed initial interest in collaboration but later failed to muster the motivation to do any work. Here’s to Chris and I breaking my failing streak in that department.

He’s got a lot of his work up at ChrispyGraphics.com
