Yesterday I spent a few hours working on distributing my game to various portals on the interwebs. This is a surprisingly daunting task, especially if you’re doing it all manually. Each portal has a different submission process, but most of them want you to register. Expect to fill out a decent of information about yourself and your game before moving on to the next flash arcade.

Kongregate along with Stride gum is hosting a new contest with a hefty $25,000 in prizes split 4 ways. Grand prize is $10,000! What’s the catch? There really isn’t one, but you do have to submit an unreleased game and be a U.S. citizen. All submissions are still the property of the developer and can still be sponsored by another site.
The theme is Endurance, which is pretty vague. They must be hoping for a variety of different types of games and genres, and I am sure uniqueness and creativity will go a long way here.
Sounds like a good opportunity to make some cash and a good game. The deadline is December 28th, so that’s less than 2 months from now. Better get crackin! 1-2-3-go!!
